Due to recent tech layoffs job seekers are rejecting startups just by hearing their names.

Recently, we were working for one of the Big clients which had a startup-like name, and the candidates just by hearing the name said "No, I don't want to work in a startup"

We had to explain that they are not startups but the big company.

Now you can imagine if you are a startup, what can happen to you?

A big company can hire recruiters and fix this hiring issue but for a startup, where every single penny is important. Hiring often becomes a costly affair.

How hiring is a costly affair?

  1. Cost of posting a job (not to mention, posting a job on the wrong platform)
  2. Weeding out unqualified candidates
  3. Calling candidates
  4. Setting up interview
  5. Extending offers
  6. Negotiating
  7. and many more

This breaks the backbone of a founder, because they have so many things to manage, and hiring becomes one pain point that they cannot avoid.
