How to start working with freelancers?

How to start working with freelancers?

The years of pandemics have shown that people can work effectively even at a distance. At that, the benefits of collaboration with freelance vendors are well known too. So, why do so many businesses still choose to outsource their tasks to agencies?

No secret, that companies rendering various services often have small in-house teams and assign their projects and tasks to independent professionals. Translations and language services, accounting and bookkeeping, design and graphics, information technologies and website development, marketing and content creation… Today, the list of outsourced tasks seems to be endless.

And the reason why many companies and organisations do not work with freelancers directly is the illusion that one needs special skills to coordinate the work of independent professionals. It is not so. Absolutely every company can create a robust network of reliable freelance vendors. At that, it requires minimum investments and effort.

Freelanguage has been collaborating with freelancers since 2011. Our team has more than 10 years of experience in this area. And today we want to share our knowledge and best practices with you!

For these purposes, we have launched our new service – Supply Chain Optimization. It is intended to assist businesses in the process of replacing corporate vendors with freelancers and increase the effectiveness of their supply chains. As a result, customers receive tools that allow managing projects outsourced to freelance vendors specialising in various areas and fields.

The service consists of five stages:

1.??????Analysis (analysis of existing supply chains, assessment of benefits and economical effects of the optimisation)

2.??????Design (designing the optimised supply chains and project management facilities, creating the detailed implementation roadmap)

3.??????Implementation (preparing necessary documents and templates, training for team members, search of the corresponding freelance vendors)

4.??????Launch (assisting clients’ team members with the first assignments, reaching the design parameters of the optimised supply chain)

5.??????Follow-up (supervision and audit of the optimised chain, implementing changes, adjustments)

The detailed service description can be found here: https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/pavelelin_supply-chain-optimisation-service-description-activity-6947550279001116673-SEC7?utm_source=linkedin_share&utm_medium=member_desktop_web

Our clients can choose what stages they need because after each stage they receive results that can be used by them with or without our assistance. For example, a company may decide to order the first and second stages, and later carry out implementation and launch on their own. At that, all follow-up services remain available for all our clients.

For this service, we apply a rate per hour of 43.00 EUR/hour (approx. 45.50 USD).

The time required for each project and each stage depends on the client’s task, requirements, and desires.

I believe the Supply Chain Optimisation would be of immense help to both clients and freelancers. For clients, the problem has always revolved around finding the right professional translator who have experience and is specialized in their field of work to be able to handle their translation requirements on permanent basis, and for freelance translators, the problem has always been of finding a path to reach direct clients in need of their field of speciality and expertise. Here, the chain has been always broken, cutting the reach of clients to the right translators, and the reach of translators to right clients. Good luck Pavel, we all look forward to your Supply Chain Optimisation, which is result-oriented to the benefit of all.
