or how to use LinkedIn article as a landing page.
A few days ago I published a post on my LinkedIn page about LinkedIn articles. I must admit I was not a big fan of LinkedIn articles because the algorithm reduced their reach in the last couple of years. But then 3 events happened and changed my mind.
The first event was around 6 months ago, when I got a LinkedIn newsletter which is basically a newsletter on LinkedIn helping content creators to build a community of subscribers of the newsletter. The best thing about the newsletter is that they receive an email whenever we write an article. Awesome, right? Make sure you are alert about this feature, because LinkedIn is about to start rolling it to everybody.
The second situation was when a client called me and told me she found me via searching on Google for some content around LinkedIn. One of the one of the first results was my LinkedIn article. Articles are indexed in Google, which is a really big benefit.
And the third occasion was a few weeks ago when I did the research for one of my presentations and I found a LinkedIn article that was basically just a few external links to other pages.
They've got me really thinking and realizing that a LinkedIn article can be much more than just a longer post around certain topic, but can serve us as a landing page.
So what does that really mean - LinkedIn article as a landing page? Before we dive into details of this great strategy, let me put out some of the general benefits article on LinkedIn in comparison with an update.

Use LinkedIn article as a landing page
Let us first talk about what a landing page is:
"A landing page is a standalone web page that a person "lands" on after clicking through from an email, ad, or other digital location.
?Once they’re on your landing page, users are encouraged to take an action, such as joining your list or buying your products. If the user takes the specific desired action, then your landing page has succeeded in getting them to convert."

As I always say – LinkedIn is not just your business card, it is a TOOL. And using an article as a landing page is for sure one heck of a trick.
Who can benefit from this trick?
*LinkedIn articles can only be created on profiles, not pages.
What to include in an article - landing page?
The sky is the limit how you can use the space in an article. You have 40.000 charachters and you can add videos, images, external links, slides, snippets etc.
Some ideas:
So what are the links I am talking about in the headline?
The idea is to use this article to showcase all of my entities you can follow to learn about LinkedIn and how can I help you with it.
So what are those links you should use to keep track on LinkedIn?

I am a BIG lover of lakes
Four years ago I created a project Moja jezera (eng. My lakes). The story is simple: to cycle to all Slovenian lakes. The website mojajezera.si is becoming a true online lexicon of all lakes in Slovenia, or as I call it, a?mancyclopedia. At the time of this writing, it has 1140 lakes.
The peak of the project, and my creativity is?THE book. On the 25th August 2020 my book? The Slovenia Lakes?was published and I could not be more happy about it. You see, I have been dreaming about becoming a book writer for almost 30 years.
