Google has licensed its AI research model for breast-cancer screening for the first time to medical technology company iCAD.?

1. The screening tool could help radiologists improve breast cancer detection and risk assessment.
2. AI screening could be used to offer more than two binary options (“cancer” or “no cancer”) to account for the “gray area" of diagnosis.
