This LinkedIn newsletter was supposed to go out last Friday but it looked like this feature was down.
So here's to continue to spread love on LinkedIn post Valentine's day.
Here are my five tips:
1. ???? Send encouraging DMs to people in your network who have been laid off or are having a hard time at the moment and would appreciate a message from you.??My newsfeed has been filled with posts from people in my network who have lost their jobs recently.
2. ???? Leave meaningful comments on posts by people in your network especially if the post has little or no engagement.??When you comment on someone's post, the algorithm pushes the post out to more people. I have had posts which have got crickets and then someone comments on the post and it boosts my spirits and the post.
3. ???? Endorse the skills and/or write recommendations for people you have benefited from working with.??You can do this right on your connection's profile either in the Skills section or under Recommendations.
Watch my YouTube video to see how to endorse connections
4. ???? Make warm introductions for two or more people in your network.??LinkedIn is a 24/7 networking site and how fantastic if we can facilitate some of these connections.Learn how to add one or more people in your network to a message so you can introduce them in a short video on my YouTube channel. Link in comments.↓↓
5. ???? Use the kudos button to recognize or praise someone in your network either in a post or in a DM.??Watch my YouTube video to see how to do this.
??Remember by spreading the love, you are also nurturing relationships, and building visibility for yourself. So you are showing yourself some LinkedIn love too
??Show me some love by commenting on this newsletter and sharing it with your network. Do you have anything to add to this list? Which of these will you do today? Let me know in the comments.
So what's the big announcement, you ask.

Talking about Expats, my podcast interview "Using LinkedIn for your Expat Career" with Amanda Molenaar , Life coach for expats and host of This Expat Life podcast is one of the most popular ones.

Next week I will be chatting about "How Expats Women and Women in the C-Suite can Leverage LinkedIn" with Sarah Clay , for Sarah's LinkedIn Live Lounge on her purple couch on Feb. 19th at 7am PST!
Yikes, that's early but Sarah is in the UK, so this works for her time zone.
I did my first workshop targeted for jobseekser on How they can Leverage LinkedIn to get Noticed by Recruiters.
This was at the The Expat Woman 's Get Hired: Strategies for Career Success at Cloudflare , San Francisco.
I also moderated a panel of rockstar recruiters Alison (Mackay) De Silva from Meta , Rachael Gingery from Alchemy , Ellen Heirbaut from Yelp and ??Ginny C.?? from ōURA
Here are a couple of photos from the event courtesy of Bora Alija
Thank you Marianna Ilagan , Na Le , Kumba Gladys F , Krithika Manikavasagam and Ilhem Ali Rachedi for all your support with the event.
It was good to reconnect and meet with some of our existing network and new connections Diana Gaffney , Irma Kollar , Varsh Kanthadai , Tanya S. , Stacia Thompson and Lily Fontas to name a few.
I also hosted a LinkedIn Audio Event with some of The Expat Woman Summit speakers. I had 14 speakers on stage and except for some internet glitches, it went really well and all the speakers had the opportunity to speak several times in the one hour allocated time.
We couldn't bring any of our guests on stage but loved that some of them introduced themselves in the comments and added to the conversation with their own insights and tips.
Dr. Constantina N. Kass, PhD, NCSP , Gera Klijnsma , Varsha Pingale , Susan M. King , KimAileen White, MA .
You made it to the end!!
Thank you for reading this. If you found this helpful and want to receive my weekly newsletter, do subscribe to it.
Would love if you could also share this with your network.
Warm regards,
Nyna
