According to Dr. Cassie Holmes, when you have less than 2-hours a day of discretionary time you are less happy and have more stress. Research also shows that if you have too much free time (over 5-hours per day), you would be less happy.

You can live without regret. It takes prioritization, boundaries, and connecting to your values each week.

It is vital that you prioritize what you value most:

- family and friends

- sleep, exercise, and getting outside

- reading, learning, time in nature, relaxation time, etc.

One tip that Cassie shares is to take a weekly routine activity such as having coffee at a coffee shop or going on a walk and make it a ritual with someone you care about.
