How to speed up physical healing.
How to speed up physical healing.
Sooooo, it turns out I broke all the knuckles on my right hand late last year (as you can see in the comparison pics of my two hands)…..although I didn’t realise at the time. I’ll come back to this in a sec…
You know how sometimes it can feel like you just can’t quite shake old injuries and/or illnesses!?
They seem to hang around way longer than they should…..especially when compare to your recovery rate when you were younger.
That was me for so many years….so very frustrating!!!!
But it doesn’t have to be this way I’ll let you how, but first let me tell you the story I started above.
I was picking up a heavy box of tiles to move them and I managed to strip over some junk on the ground.
In that fraction of a second, I thought….’Ok, I need to move this box so it doesn't land on my hand.’
While sometimes these moments can feel like they are happening in slow motion, I was halfway through that thought when I hit the ground
And the box of tiles landed on my hand!!!!
Next thought, ‘My hand is going to be completely crushed’……and wondering why I would need to go through this at this point in my life?!!?!?!?!?
Such relief when I lifted off the box and realised I could actually move my hand and nothing seemed to be broken.
I was in a fair bit of pain, but apart from a heap of skin off my knuckles and a nasty gash out of my pinkie finger, I was pretty happy that all my bones and joints seemed intact.
I probably needed a couple of stitches, but I did what a typical impatient man would do, I strapped it up and hoped for the best lol.
I did cheat with those magic adhesive strips……shhhhh
Over the next 24 hours, I tried to make sense of what had happened and my lucky escape.
I’m in a great place, I’ve got so many positive things happening, and then this!!! WHY?!?!?!?
Then I got an overwhelming knowing that I was being looked after.
The full body tingles of confirmation as that thought came through and again now as I write this confirmed this to be true.
Call it divine intervention or some sixth sense, but……
The point of the box of tiles landed between my pinky finger (hence the gash) and the next finger and while the rest of the box came down on my hand, the full impact had been absorbed to some degree. What are the chances?!
Ok so at this point you might be thinking, yeah so what you got lucky, but this is only the start of the miraculous part.
I was using my mouse and typing pain free the next day and on the chin-up bar a couple of days after that with no problem.

An injury that in the past would have kept me out of action for days or weeks barely stopped me.
The next days later I remember speaking to my coach and sharing what had happened and how blown away I was about how quickly I was already healing.
She reminded me what I already knew helping other people, is that when you heal mentally, emotionally and spiritually, your whole body increases it’s ability to recover.
She said you are being shown this for a reason, so you can help others to recover quickly, from (another one of) your own experience(s).
What's interesting is that now, a few months down the track I notice the familiar swelling in the knuckles that indicates a previous break….in all 4 knuckles.
It blows my mind still that I had broken bones but barely noticed.
The gash was as deep as the width of my finger was now only a small scar.
My ability to heal, my ability to move past physical injuries has been accelerated, because I've been doing the mental, emotional and spiritual healing regularly for 10 years.
Talking to people to ease the mental overload, emotional release processes to calm the nervous system and daily meditation to deepen my connection to self.
This is what is possible when you go on a growth and healing journey
You don’t just treat the symptoms, you go to the cause and continue to release.
Each illness and part of the body represents a different message that your body is sending you.
It’s telling you that something needs your attention.
So wherever you're at the moment, no matter what you believe around your ability to heal, an improvement is possible!!!
The human body really does have an incredible ability to recover.
If we create the right conditions, the right environment, the right support, and the right nurturing for our body, we can return to full health quickly
Be more be as open as you can around this. Be curious and see what else is out there.
This goes for long term injuries, chronic pain or chronic injury (I've unraveled many of these 3 over the years as well) or going through different patterns that keep repeating.
Be open to what is possible.
Open up and start looking at your humaness in a whole different light and you will be amazed at what is possible for you.
Start with making a commitment to yourself.
Write it down in your diary, or if you are feeling really brave, own in and write it below??????
