HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF MISALIGNED CARTON LIDS?

Nowadays, many customers' standards for carton forming are not limited to the requirements of carton joints, but require carton forming to be square and the top and bottom swinging lids to be aligned - seemingly, these requirements are not difficult, but in practice they are not so simple to achieve. For example, if the seams and dimensions of the carton are correct and good, but the lid is easily misaligned after the carton is formed, how can this be resolved?

In fact, the misalignment of the corrugated box lids after the carton is formed is not just a matter of the size of the carton and the seam, but is mainly caused by the fact that the press line of the carton is not deep enough.

The first step is to solve the problem of horizontal pressure lines on the corrugator. If the pressure lines on the corrugator are not deep enough, then it is relatively laborious to fold the carton when the cover is shaken.

Tips: If the pressure line is not printed, it is best to use the tip-to-tip pressure line, this kind of pressure line is conducive to carton forming, shaking the lid to fold and refold are more convenient.

Secondly, the longitudinal pressure line of the flexo printing machine is also very important, the longitudinal pressure line should be deep and must be straight, many cases are due to the cardboard feeding tilt leads to the carton pressure line tilt, then the carton made out of this way is most likely to appear bad carton forming and carton lids folding misalignment.

Tip: When you find a carton lids misalignment first determine if the carton crimp slotted opening produces a tilt.

Tools such as grommets or backstitching can be installed on the die-cutting base plate

Finally, when the carton is die-cutting, it can be installed on the die-cutting base plate with buckle lines or counter-compression lines and other tools to solve the phenomenon of overlapping carton lids caused by poor pressure lines.

Summary

The main reason for the poor formation of the carton cover is the pressure line adjustment, followed by the cardboard in the printing machine running tilt resulting in carton cover misalignment phenomenon also often occurs, so the best way to solve this type of problem is to discuss and solve from these two aspects.
