This past weekend, KTMB joined with MidTown Reno and Midnight Coffee Roasting to hold a caffeinated Fall Clean Up, with cigarette counting and cigarette receptacle installation! With the help of our wonderful volunteers, we picked up over 3,000 cigarette butts and installed receptacles all along Midtown. KTMB is now accepting applications for a Beautification and Cleanup Coordinator Americorp! The Beautifications and Cleanups Coordinator AmeriCorps will be an essential member of KTMB’s team. In this position, you will maintain the high quality of KTMB’s volunteer program, including training, managing, recruiting, and providing recognition to volunteers. You will work closely with KTMB’s community and municipal partners to assist with the coordination of large-scale litter pickup events. You will also work with our Sustainability Education teams to facilitate presentations and service learning opportunities for schools and community groups.
