How to Soar Above Life's Challenges ??
Be an Eagle, Not a Duck: A Thought-Provoking Perspective ????
I read a story today that got me thinking about the power of our mindset. The story talks about being a duck or an eagle and the consequences of each. ????
Ducks: The Complainers
Ducks are often associated with negativity and complaining. They tend to look for ?what's wrong, talk about what has been wrong, concentrate on what is missing, talk and write about what has been missing or could be missing. Their eyes see the difficulties and their mind gets stuck on the barriers and stops related to the past, present and future.??
Eagles: The Achievers
In contrast, eagles are associated with a mindset of achievement. They soar above small problems, they soar above the wrongness and focus on winning, focus on what they want to accomplish. ?? They take action, seek improvements, and strive for success. They look for what is right, what was right and what could be right. ??
But then having read the story got me to think of the following concept:
No matter the circumstances - when we are acting like an eagle or like a duck, we are actually acting the way we have decided to act because somewhere or other, we feel it's our right to be the way we have decided to be.
So, it's our right to complain and concentrates on what is wrong or it's our right to soar above the problems and challenges and concentrate on what we want to achieve.
Now, here is the interesting part to all this!
We can ask this question: Did the victim of a war or the victim of a psychopath decide to be a victim?
Very important question - you would know the answer if you have done the Leadership Stability course with us.
Meanwhile we can play with the following thought:
Yes and No!
I know people who have been close to psychopaths who did not agree to be a victim of these people and went away, ran away, stopped having relationships or being around that psychopath. And with a psychopath I mean anything which has people in it - be it a government, a military base, a club, a boss, a friend or a family member.
The part I want to bring to your attention here is:
WE ALL HAVE THE POWER OF CHOICE TO STAY OR TO GO!
WE ALL HAVE THE POWER OF CHOICE TO TALK!

WE ALL HAVE THE POWER OF CHOICE TO ASK FOR HELP!
The following fact, which I have personally experienced in my own life and the lives of hundreds of people - from family, friends, co-workers, team mates, customers and people who just send me questions and ask for help is the following:
IN MAJORITY OF CASES – long before we become a real victim of a war or a psychopath, we had observed that there are things which are not right and that we should either stand up and handle these or get away from them.
You have Mr. Mandella being tortured and in prison for over 2 decades but he still did not agree to be a victim and kept writing and kept talking and kept continuing on his beliefs until he got what he wanted to get.
He was a real Eagle!
And we have people like me who at the age of 14 when I lost my boyfriend, the whole world ended for me and I became a big heavy complainer. And I can guarantee you that I had many many many reasons for my decision to become a complainer!
Many of us have different areas of life where in some areas we act like an eagle and in some areas we decide to act like a duck.
As more confusion in an area, as more uncertainties in an area, as more false information which we can not put to use in an area, as more we decide to be the duck.
The solution IS to become more and more an eagle – with the resultant peace of mind.
HERE IS HOW:
Nb. look for proven records and statistics and massive amount of results before you chose a mentor or a coach to help you increase your stability and confidence in the areas where you feel weak.
I personally would love to hear your opinions about this subject. It's very dear and close to my heart ?
To your success and peace of mind??
