How To Smash Your Marketing Goals Using Influencer Marketing As A Means

Hello SexTecher, Welcome to the first edition of SMI. You're welcome to join my private circle if you found my previous newsletters insightful.

Influencer marketing is gaining more ground in the sextech industry, this is expected as it is one reliable way to resist the digital restrictions businesses face in this space.

However, it is still tricky as some founders share that influencers can still face restrictions when they make specific posts about sextech businesses, how then do you ensure that your influencer achieves your marketing goals?

A quick back story, I worked as a micro-influencer for various sextech organizations for three years. I talked more about it here.

Today, I am sharing insight on how to use influencer marketing to smash your business goals as a sextech founder:

  1. Highlight Your Goals: For a lot of sextechers, the reason why they turn to influencer marketing is for better brand awareness that will convert to sales in the near future, whatever your goals are ensure you highlight them and prioritize them accordingly. This will give you clarity into what kind of influencer your brand needs.
  2. Use Niche-Influencers: These are people who are known to share knowledge about a specific subject topic and have gained a large audience of people who are interested in that subject topic. This is recommended because it's easy to reach prospects that are primed(a primed audience is those who are problem-aware and ready to get a solution to whatever challenge they are facing).
  3. Utilize Influencer-Generated Content: Influencing goes beyond reposting the organization's content, the need to be authentic to prospects cannot be neglected as this plays a vital role in conversion. Influencers should be able to repurpose or better generate content that resonates better with their audience.

Influencer marketing can make a change and help you fight the digital restriction but that will only happen when it is done rightly.

This Week's Tangible

Every week, I share helpful resources in SexTech Marketing that I find, so here is what I found this week;

  • This article is from a sex influencer about influencer marketing.
  • This article from Modality Group also provides helpful insight into influencer marketing in the sextech industry.
  • The power of community building in fighting unfair restriction, Cindy Gallop was unfairly banned from LinkedIn this week and the community she spent years building spoke out for her.

Thank you for reading this week's edition of SMI,

Until Next Week,

Sana.
