So, we roll into a new week. It’s certainly going fast in May!
And, last week we launched the first Body Fix Workshop.
I can’t tell you how much fun it was, and I know how boring these talks can be when you have to sit for an hour watching slides and someone talking.
We tried to make it as fun and engaging as we possibly could for the 2 hours.
The problem for many people is they sit for too long. And, when your job is desk based, throughout the day we start to get tired and slouch.
Many get up and go for a walk on their breaks. But, is this enough to combat the problems that sitting creates?
Probably not.
We talked in the first 40 minutes about the problems that may occur in the body.
And, in the second half we got all the simple tools out that can help people to ease or eliminate pain.
We of course asked for some feedback and everyone said that they found the workshop useful and, they felt better than when they walked in.
As you can see, lots of smiles ??
We are following up each workshop with our E-Learning platform so each employee can revisit what we showed them on the day and implement.

What else have the body fix team been up to over the last few weeks?
I had another workshop for the gym members.
It was a Friday evening and I took 20 people through some mobility, flexibility and exercises that could unlock some new range of motion. Thoroughly enjoyed that one.
I’m looking to open the third Body Fix site in August. This one will be near Tamworth. I already have a good client base that comes to the Burton site from that way, so I guess there’s nothing wrong in expanding.
