How should you feel about work after the Pandemic?

Here’s what I am noticing at the moment:
People seem positive about the future.?Which is great.
It’s been 2 years since the first lockdown. And it feels like we’re finally picking our heads up to look forward. There’s optimism in the air.
Throwback to 2020 and many people were questioning if they were in the right job:
Looking back, this has to be one of the positives that came from everything we suffered. That period to reflect.
The moment the world stopped.
We finally had a chance to pause our busy lives.
But, not everyone had the chance to move on. Not everyone made bold moves to shape the next chapter.?
I got approached by a new client the other day. He hadn’t been feeling good about his job since the pandemic. He’d started a career in Finance just before the lockdown happened.?
He wanted to give this job a good crack. He wanted to test it out, despite all of the uncertainty.
The rug was pulled out from under his feet
The nice office space on offer was now closed. He was constrained to work from his bedroom. No contact with his colleagues or boss.?
Still, he knuckled down. He pushed on. He wanted to give it a shot.?
But, he came to realise that he didn’t like his boss. The personal development promised at the interview stage didn't materialise.?
Things were wearing thin when he realised he couldn’t learn what he needed from the people that were supposed to be around him.?
