How should I begin my People Analytics?

Remember that I read these earlier this year:

92% of HR professionals plan to use people analytics in 2023

Approaching the end of the year, I'm curious how it goes. Yet, I still get a common question: "How should I begin my People Analytics?" Here are a few points came to my mind:

  1. Set Clear Objectives: Define your goals. This is the core
  2. Collect & Integrate Data: Gather the updated data from different sources (this might rely on your current data readiness—where are you in your HR Transformation Journey?)
  3. Start Small, Pilot First: identify certain areas with pilot projects, better start with small
  4. Select the necessary tools: ?Pick the relevant/suitable analytics tools, that can align with your needs
  5. Develop Analytical Skills: Invest in analytical abilities within your team
  6. Communicate Insights: ?Present the findings to relevant stakeholders ; ?identify actionable changes
  7. Adapt & Refine: Collect feedback and continuously enhance your approach
