Do you want to share your exact location with someone? You can do share your location by following a few steps. These steps work similarly for both iPhone and Android users. And the best part is you can share your location with your contacts, Bluetooth, or through email. Even better, you can copy the location and save it somewhere else for your convenience.
Here are the simple steps to sharing your location.
1. Turn on your GPS location
Head to Settings on your phone and tap on the location option. Here you will find an on and off option. Tap on this button and ensure it’s on.
But you can opt for the easier option. Swipe down to access the hidden icons on top of your screen. Do you spot the location icon? If yes, tap on it until it gets activated.
2. Open Google Maps and Tap the location Button
Are you done switching your location on? If so, directly head to Google maps. Once you are in, you might get overwhelmed by the buttons. Luckily, the location button is strategically located on the right side of your screen.
Touch this button and slightly wait as it locks your location. Often, after locking your position, you might want to double-tap this point. Double tapping this point lets you zoom, meaning you get accurate coordinates.
3. Share your Location
To wrap up this process, you have to share this location. But how do you do this? Scroll down on the option buttons below and tap on the share button. Choose the share option you want, then share your location.
