How to share a post by a company page on your personal profile on LinkedIn

Gaining interaction on LinkedIn company pages without using the sponsored options is rather difficult. Much like Facebook, LinkedIn doesn’t give a lot of weight to company page updates purely because, like Facebook, it wants you to pay for the chance to increase your audience.
One thing you can do is to make a post on your company page, whether that be a link to a blog on your own website or a link to a story an another website, and then ‘share’ that update on your personal LinkedIn profile to your own contacts as if it were from your company page.
However, LinkedIn doesn’t make this easy. On Facebook, you can post on your company page and then simply click the ‘share’ button underneath your post and share it on your own Facebook account. LinkedIn has disabled that option from company pages, so it appears you cannot share a post made by your company page.
This is not the case – it just appears that way from your company page.
Instead of trying to share the post from your company page, once you have made the post from your company navigate to your own timeline to see your company’s post. If it isn’t there (as LinkedIn does show ‘Top Updates’ by default) click the three dots under the ‘Publish a Post’ link and select ‘Recent Updates’.
This will show all posts on LinkedIn in chronological order. You should now see the post made by your company page, complete with a ‘share’ option so you can share your own company post with your own personal connections.
These steps, once again and in order, are:
- From your company page, make a post from your company
- Click on ‘Home’
- Click on the three dots underneath ‘Publish a Post’ and select ‘Recent Updates’
- Scroll down until you see your company post, and click ‘Share’
- Write your own personal comment if needed, and share your post

3 年Thanks for the tip. I also found a different way: "Copy link to post" from your company page's post, then "Open link in new tab". You will find your company's post with Like | Comment | Share | Send buttons. (dated 3 Feb, 2022)

3 年why can't I share things on my company page? If I try to share a post from a website or a video from you youtube, linkedin will now allow me to do this. It will only allow me to post text.. no images, video,s links etc. So I have to post to my personal timeline and then share it from there to my business page.

3 年I still can't see the post in "Home" but it's only 8min ago that I've post it from the business page. Do I need to wait longer? The most recent post I see in "Home" is a few hours ago, nothing more recent. Thank you

3 年Interestingly, this has not improved yet. I have found a simple workaround that may help: https://up2staff.com/how-to-share-your-company-linkedin-post-in-your-feed
