Gmail has been the go-to free emails for users around the world. It has been dominating the industry for some years now and left the other competitors in the shadows. It is free, easy to use, and can be accessed on different operating systems and devices.
In using Gmail, you also have access to many functionalities and integrations like Google Tasks, Calendar, Notes, and more. It makes the automation of tasks easy for business owners and entrepreneurs alike.
One of the functionalities Gmail offers is setting an alias for the account. An email alias is simply another name for the same email address(for example; instead of [email protected] you can make the same inbox send/receive email from [email protected]). The word alias is sometimes used to indicate a particular mode of email forwarding, implying a more generic meaning of the term.
