- Install Drivers: Ensure that the drivers for your wireless network adapter are installed correctly. This is essential for the adapter to detect available Wi-Fi signals. (Make sure you do not connect to any Wi-Fi network at this stage.)
- Check Operating System: Confirm that your computer is running Windows 10 or Windows 11, as these instructions are tailored for these operating systems.
- Open Settings: Go to your computer's [Settings].
- Navigate to Network & Internet: Within the Settings menu, find and click on [Network & Internet].
- Access Mobile Hotspot: Select [Mobile hotspot] from the options on the left sidebar.
- Enable Mobile Hotspot: Turn on the Mobile hotspot feature. You can also modify the settings for the Wi-Fi name and password to your preference.
- Connect Devices: Now, other devices can connect to your new mobile hotspot using the Wi-Fi name and password you set.
