Upstream's Mentorship Minute
Mentorship is essential for the successful transition of new physical therapy graduates into competent and confident practitioners. It facilitates knowledge transfer, skill development, professional guidance, career advancement, emotional support, critical thinking, professional identity formation, and, ultimately, the delivery of quality patient care.
We believe deeply in mentorship at Upstream. In fact, we offer a 10-month onboarding process for new associates to help to promote the development of an evidence-based plan of care management for new graduate clinicians. In addition, new graduates will be paired with a senior therapist they can learn from as part of a 12-month professional development program.
