How to sell
For every first time founder probably coming from a technical background with no business experience, selling can become the most gruesome experience.
For me as a founder, it was, so I’m going to share what I’ve learned the last 5 years working closely to sales, and analyzing how best startups do it.
The basics
Sales is about just trust: convincing the potential customer you can solve the problem he’s looking to get solved
But first, how to you get your target customer to even think about you?
1. Your potential customers must be able to see you to buy your product
When you first start a company, nobody knows it.
Your potential customers don’t know that you exist, so they can’t buy your product.
So, pretty simple you need to let them know you exist and that you solve their problem X.
So, now they know you but how do you make them trust you? Really simple??
2. Prove your potential customers you are great at solving their problems

7 个月Disruptive policy for all the founders - is the lack for experience to understand - The Investments should be a Return Jorney!! Otherwise, we already have statistics of losses versus cloudy projects were invested. And First who put this officially onto public gonna be hero with a chance to save his name.
