How To Sell Anything

I've given a few workshops over?the past month, and at least twice, the leader has stopped me and addressed their team...

"This guy sounds like he could go out tomorrow and sell our stuff..."

I don't know if there's a higher compliment anyone can?pay me, especially given the variety of clients I work with, but this isn't a piece for me to gloat.?

A primary focus of my sales career has been not just to understand what works but why it works.

There's a huge difference between knowing what to say and knowing how to sell.

You can try to memorize a script, a few objection rebuttals, and some soft closes or...

You can

  • ask great questions about problems and motives
  • empathize with people so they feel seen and heard
  • know how your solution will help solve their problems (even if you don't know exactly how your solution works*)
  • keep your head where your feet are so your prospect always feels the connection between you
  • listen more than your alk
  • fiercely believe in what you offer so your customers perceive that value, too

It all starts with how you approach your craft. Your customers can tell the difference between a true pro and someone going through the motions.?

Which one are you? Which one would you rather be??

PS- Big news this week. I'll share more of my feelings in next week's video
