How to Self Publish with iTunes Connect (Roadmap+Hacks)

1. Setup Itunes Connect (Fill out all the nonsense). If you have an apple account it's a pretty easy process.

2. Go to Apple Books for Authors (Once you have filled out the nonsense about tax, bank accounts etc. go to this site).

3. Observe this screen + fill out accordingly =

4. Continue + Fill out more Tax info

5. GO back to connect, click on my books, it will take a few minutes to show your book.

6. Click on the cover under 'my books' when you see it.

7. Re-address this =

8. When on rights and pricing, click the selected terrirories and fill out as such for max exposure. (Beware, it is best to USD or GBP, but it depends on your niche, target market and end strategy) hence why I have opted for CNY ;)

Check in within 48 hours to continue

Final Considerations :

• Learn the difference between epub and pdf. It will save you a whole world of pain, annoyance and cursing.
• How long does itunes connect take to review my book?

You should receive an email once the book is approved and ready for sale for the first time. After your book status changes to Ready, it can take?up to 24 hours?for it to be visible or update across all of Apple's servers, and another 24 hours to be fully searchable.
