How to select proper equipment?

How to select proper equipment?

People frequently as me – which Mac should I buy to save more money and achieve the maximum productivity? Indeed, Apple provide too many options, and it is easy to get lost in them. First, I would like to admit that I am not a fan of Apple. Major reason of that Apple is a prison, luxury, comfortable, but still a prison. However a life in a prison isn’t issue for many people, because living in the free world requires to make too many decisions. Apple eliminates that dictating what you need to do. And I will help you to eliminate one more decision which product to buy for that.

Unfortunately my recommendations won’t work for every one, so I will make certain prerequisites:

1. you are a student or a professional who needs a computer for work

2. your budget is $2000 or more

3. you need a freedom to work behind of a desk, or be a mobile

3. you need a freedom to work behind of a desk, or be a mobile

Now I can provide my recommendations:

1. the main computer: Mac mini, M1 chip, 16Gb memory and 1Tb SSD storage - $1300 – $100 for students

2. 27” monitor, 4K – any monitor priced $450 or higher will work

3. a keyboard and a mouse/trackpad - $70-$250 depending on your preferences

Now you almost spent $2K, however remaining $300 you need to spend on iPad. If you have a little more freedom, then I will recommend to iPad Pro.

4. iPad Pro 11” with WiFi (if you still want iPhone) - $900 or $1050 with Cellular without iPhone.

The rest you can buy later or now if still there are some money:

5. iPhone mini, 128Gb capacity - $780

6. Apple Watch, Aluminum Case, 44mm with Cellular - $360

Excuse me, but where is a laptop? A good question and my article is about that – you do not need a laptop anymore. When you need a serious work, you need a big screen and comfortable keyboard and mouse. When you are on a move, you need a touch screen and a light device. I hope you will find my recommendations useful.
