How to Secure 2 High-Ticket Clients on LinkedIn Per Month

When a platform like LinkedIn is practically begging you to use short-form video, guess what’s going to happen? Your competitors are going to hop on that bandwagon.

The platform incentivizes you to do a specific thing, so more people do it, plain and simple.

But here’s where it gets interesting:

  • Tons of folks will try short-form content.
  • Very few will be willing to go live or develop real video skills.
  • Meanwhile, the big video creators from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube are quietly migrating to LinkedIn because they see how easy it is to grab massive attention here (versus drowning in those bigger platforms).

Only 1-3% of LinkedIn Users Post Weekly

This stat is nuts: Out of a billion active LinkedIn users, only 1-3% post original content weekly. Let that sink in. While you’re worried about what to say or how you look on camera, these 1-3% are getting all the attention—which leads to leads and sales.

And that number doesn’t even include video. You’ve got an even bigger opportunity for visibility if you jump into video now.

Why People Hesitate to Do Video

  • Skill and Comfort: They don’t feel confident on camera or think it requires Hollywood-level production.
  • Perfection Paralysis: They assume they need fancy gear, teleprompters, and a mini-studio.
  • Lack of Time: They say they’re too busy to set everything up.

But here’s the reality: Live video can actually make your life easier—and help you level-up your camera skills faster than any teleprompter script. If you love to teach or explain things in a more natural way, going live is perfect because you can just talk, share, and field questions.

Plus, you can repurpose that long-form content into short-form video clips, doubling your output from a single session.

Going Live Is the Ultimate Cheat Code

Let’s be real—everyone’s going to jump on short-form soon. But very few are going to go live consistently. That’s your chance to stand out.

Ask yourself:

  • When was the last time you saw your direct competitor host even ONE monthly LinkedIn Live session?

  • If you don’t have 4,000 connections yet, cool—start posting polls, text posts, images, short-form clips, and you can realistically hit 4,000+ in 30-60 days.
  • If you already have more than 4,000 and you’re not using this tool, you’re sitting on a gold mine without realizing it.

Here’s the math:

  1. Invite 4,000 people to your event.
  2. Expect around 1,000 of them to register (some folks might see 500; it depends largely on your current visibility)
  3. Around 150-200 will actually show up live.
  4. You can easily book 5 calls from that crowd if you know how to share value that resonates with your ideal client.
  5. Closing 2 of those calls at 10K each = $20K per monthly event.

And if your average deal size is bigger—say $20k, $50k, or even $100k—these numbers go stratospheric. Remember, 4 out of 5 people on LinkedIn are decision-makers, so you’re not stuck going through a middleman who has to get approvals.

This is great, thank you Shanee. I’d like your input on a live gone wrong - last month I had a live three day challenge. I was using Restream and everything went wrong every single day.
