Amidst all the chaos, our goal is to bring to you insights, and growth tips that keep your sales going.

Startups that you can target this week for leads

These startups have raised funding last week, and when a company raises funds, they invest in the following areas:

  • Hiring more people, so opportunities for job seekers, recruitment agencies
  • Technology investment, so opportunities for tech vendors, cloud operators etc.
  • Growth ie marketing & sales, and opportunities for services providers in this arena.

Meeraq an ed-tech company has raised an angel funding round of 220K USD.

Keka HR an HRMS software company has raised $58.6 M.

MoEVing an Electric Mobility focused Technology Platform has raised $12.4M.

AlmaBetter a platform to educate and prepare students for modern-day careers has raised $2.6M.

The Sleep Company - World’s Most Advanced Technology for your sleep- has raised $21.3M.

HYGENCO - The Hydrogen Company - aims to be a global leader in deploying Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia powered industry?solutions and has raised $25M.

Bodhi ai - is a platform empowering teachers to bring their classrooms online and has raised $200K in funding.

Workruit an AI-driven Career and Recruitment platform has raised $270K.

Vecmocon Technologies which provides a full stack solution for EV 2-wheelers has raised $5.3M.

Soothe Healthcare is a consumer goods company engaged in the manufacture, marketing & distribution of Personal Hygiene products and has raised $38.7M.

Timing is super critical in sales, and if you reach out to companies when they have budgets to invest in, your conversion rates will go up. Try reaching out to these companies and tell me if you landed any sales in the comments.

Finding & targeting local businesses at scale

There are over 5 crores of local businesses in India, but finding them and reaching out to them is a messy affair.

These are small Kirana stores, local clinics, or small shops of various kinds. But always hard to find. But you know Google knows it all right?

What comes to the rescue is Google maps! And I am going to share a tool, that can scrape this information for you instantly.

- Go to the Outscraper tool. ( A freemium tool)

- Go to the services tab & select Google Maps as the input option.

- Put queries like "Kirana shops in Connaught Place" or "Pet clinic in Nariman Point"

- Enter 500 if you want 500 results to be scrapped.

- And voila, it will find the results on Google maps and scrape it and add it together in an excel for you to download with contacts, addresses, names and everything!
