Okay. So now you're having active thoughts about how to scale your consulting services. Let's be honest about something. You are probably the lead consultant in your business, right? Because most firms are led by a solo expert or a small group of experts. And that's fine, that's totally fine. But how do you scale the impact that you and perhaps your partners are making?

The idea here is don't scale the "business", scale the "impact". So normally the way most consulting works is you sit in the room and everyone fires questions at you, and your job is to answer those questions. So those questions come in and then you're able to give those awesome responses.

But can you create a scenario where someone else can be in the room and that same value is translated? Now in order to do that, that means you've got to reflect on what those common questions are. And you've got to reflect on what your common responses are. And you've got to reflect on how you arrive at those responses. In other words, that genius that's sitting in your head, that wisdom, experience, expertise that's sitting in your head has to get out of your head and into a model that someone else can execute.

The first step here in scaling your business is to make yourself as scalable as possible. Turn your expertise into a roadmap someone else can follow, and that makes execution for your team members so much easier.How to scale consulting services
