How are Savings Accrued using Next Scale STOP to prevent scale

In previous postings I have shown that physical measurement of scale formed in systems using Next Scale STOP have been as good as or better than ion exchange performance excepting evaporative systems. The scale transition produced when hard water is passed through the media is stable and does not come out of solution even when water is heated to greater than 80 deg C, the point at which phosphate conditioned scale becomes ineffective. A scale stop system lasts several years dependent upon flow and during this operational period there is no wastage of water by flushing regenerant brine from the media and no salt used in its function. The other savings are made by high efficiency in the system as would occur with softened water though there is the advantage of a non corrosive water since there is no impact on the langelier index for example. Users report that the operational savings also extend to cleaning practices in hotels and the OEM benefits from non leaking systems and negatively impacted valves and sensors add to the business case of using Next scale STOP. This quality benefit interests me in again addressing consumer satisfaction in hard potable water areas - surely a competitive advantage for those companies wishing to differentiate their service provision in water networks? Added to which there is no environmental impact with water wastage and brine return to the receiving waters or sewerage system.
