I'll be the first to admit, that I love a clean smelling home from top to bottom.

However, make certain that you're not being drawn by the advertisers sales pitch into purchasing brand name household cleansers.

Almost all household items can be cleaned by mixing an easy solution of water and soap with a pinch of ammonia or vinegar added to the solution. 

Think about all the brand name cleaning agents you may happen to be purchasing: expensive counter-top cleaning agents, bubbling bleach cleansers and unique toilet bowl purifiers.

8. Disposable Towels

Restaurants love to save money, paper towels are considered a costly investment. 

Eatery's use reusable cloths to wipe down furniture. You can use cotton-balls or reusable cloths to tidy-up.

9. Clothing softener

The average bottle of clothing softener usually cost between $ 3.00 to $ 7.00. The cost is contingent upon where you reside!

Try washing some laundry without any fabric softener and notice the difference.

By not utilizing fabric softeners you may realize that your laundry smells good and fresh.
