How To Save 64 Working Hours Every Year Using Your Gmail Account

Hotkeys are basic commands that keep our fingers on the keyboard. They are beneficial because they are major time-savers, especially when we factor in the total time used navigating a screen by mouse. We all probably use a few common hotkeys like Ctrl+C to copy, and Ctrl+V to paste. However, there are many others that can help us accomplish just about anything on our computers, especially within specific programs. Learning and memorizing hotkeys is an affordable and efficient way to boost our productivity. By implementing these shortcuts, in one year we can save eight workdays' worth of time according to e-learning expert Andrew Cohen.

Gmail is arguably one of the most, if not the most, popular email interfaces. Its intuitive, easy, and user/business-friendly design make it the worldwide favorite for good reason. To keep our hands on the keyboard longer when using Gmail, check out the hotkeys cheat sheet below. We can all become more efficient users by familiarizing ourselves with this list. Pressing "?" when logged in will also prompt a list of hotkeys. My personal favorite is the ever-so-simple "c" command. What is yours?
