How To Be “Not Salesy” In Your Business Facebook Posts.
Building A Solid Organic Content Strategy For Your Business.
One of the biggest problems we see in Businesses posting on Facebook, and Small Businesses can be just as guilty as large corporations, is being way too salesy in their content.
Don’t just post pictures of your products on Facebook. Don’t just post coupon codes and promote your deals, discounts or special services.
Be authentic, be informative, be educational or be entertaining. Always.
You are the subject matter expert in your small business. You need to be the one who creates content that answers questions that your customers or constituents have frequently.
You need to show what you’re doing behind the scenes. Show what you’re working on to enhance the experience you’re providing.
Consider even telling the trials and tribulations; the things you’ve tried that haven’t worked. All of those pieces of content create a connection with your audience.
Those pieces of content, including Facebook Live videos, are real, raw and authentic and drive better engagement than salesy posts.
The proof is always in the data.
Thanks for reading, watching and listening, and have a great day!
