How running has helped my overall happiness.

How running has helped my overall happiness.

Happiness comes in many different forms. Some can be that quick hit that comes and goes without breaking stride; some can stay with for seconds, mins, hours, and sometimes days. What I get from running is a fresh start to a new day; every morning, I decide to make an effort.?

During my early morning jogs, I had a realization. Running was also a way to let my creativity run too. I feel?less stressed and frustrated when I run, and my mind becomes less confused. I?noticed my?concentration levels have improved, and I have?more confidence to?engage.?

For that 60mins of physical exertion, I don't think about?the?things I have yet to do or where I failed. Positivity completely takes over, and my creative side flexes its muscles.?

Fitness and happiness are contagious and can make a massive shift at home or your workplace. I encourage everyone to lace them up and take those first few steps - I can't guarantee you'll love it, but I bet that after a week of following a good plan, you'll see improvements across all areas of your life, from fitness to overall happiness and business.

So get out there and let yourself free; reward yourself. The power of a reward doesn't stop when we enter our adult?life.?Create a reward system for yourself. Track your process with an app, make a creative chart with stickers (something the kids can help build), and most importantly, place it visible so you'll see it often.

And remember, it's not a one-size-fits-all; maybe walking or biking moves the?needle for you. Whatever it is, JustRYZ and move. #JUSTRYZ #Challenge #Happiness

This is awesome and so true. Rod, you introduced me to running through the pandemic when the gym was off limits and I needed something to do. Thank you for that, I’ve stuck with it and love the time out on the pavement with a clear head. It’s surprising, how quickly you decompress when you get your legs moving. And I am still proud of myself when I’m done a run so it’s true the reward totally works.
