How Can it be a Single System if a Partner is Involved?

NetSuite allows partners like CloudTamers to create scripts which run locally in NetSuite, to extend NetSuite functionality.? Making use of as many standard records, fields and forms as possible, we wrap our extend software around, and throughout, existing NetSuite.? When using CloudTamers software you won’t know where standard NetSuite starts and stops because the user experience and interface will be the same.

When you track costs for the repair against the case, you are using standard NetSuite, but when you generate an invoice back to the tenant for the cost of repair, you are using a customised Auto Invoice Generation tool which will allow you to bill for rent, and maintenance together on the same invoice as per your contract rules.

And finally, when you generate the profit and loss report for that property, you are using standard NetSuite custom reporting tools which are picking up information from our customisations to deliver the information back to you.

If I use Third Party Software, Will NetSuite Still be Involved?

Partners are strictly governed by NetSuite.

?

Although the SuiteApp partner is providing the software enhancements you need, the SuiteApp itself, is still strictly governed by NetSuite.? If the application qualifies as Built for NetSuite (BFN) then the SuiteApp Developer Network (SDN) partner must act in accordance with NetSuite goals to ensure the solution meets the same level of security standards, data privacy and overall quality as NetSuite itself.

If the application is Native to NetSuite (as CloudTamers’ products are), you will benefit from a complete and full integration, comprehensive testing and verification and, unless you already own and use NetSuite, a simultaneous engagement with NetSuite sales teams throughout your purchasing journey.

Native SuiteApps are:

• Hosted entirely on the SuiteCloud platform
• Deployed straight into your customer account via SuiteBundler
• BFN approved, tested and verified twice annually in line with NetSuite upgrades

Why Do I need to Sign Two Contracts?

?

You can only buy NetSuite from Oracle NetSuite directly.? Even if you engage a third-party vendor, such as an alliance partner or a reseller partner, to help you with your search and select, you will still receive your contractual paperwork directly from NetSuite.

When you have identified a requirement for a SuiteApp which is Native to NetSuite then you must also buy NetSuite software and users, since the SuiteApp is entirely dependent upon your use of the “parent” system NetSuite.

The second contract is required only to license your use of the SuiteApp from the creators of the software enhancement.? Consider it a license to access the third-party intellectual property for the duration of your NetSuite lifecycle.? ?The SuiteApp partner might also contract with you for the services required to implement the SuiteApp.
