How to Run an Online Writers Room Screenworks Next Webinar

With screen production on hold, writers, creatives and producers are devoting more time to project development and many are seeking more effective ways to manage their development online.

In Screenworks’ upcoming webinar How to Run an Online Writers Room, multi-award-winning screenwriter and script producer Peter Mattessi (EastEnders, Neighbours, The Heights) will share his years of experience in running and participating in online writers rooms to advise on tools and techniques for conducting an effective online writers room. Held on May 21 st from 11am – 12:30pm via zoom, the webinar will include a presentation from Peter followed by Q & A with attendees.

Peter will talk about how an online room differs from physically being in the room with other writers and the unique considerations that need to be addressed. He will advise on the optimum number of people to a room, how to set the agenda and structure the proceedings, as well as demonstrate some of the tools that are useful for creative input and sharing of ideas.
