How to reveal Checked Out files on SharePoint?

One of the advantages of using SharePoint is the ability to co-operate with your colleagues, and work together on files. However, what If you want to make changes to a file and you want to make sure no one else can edit it. In this case you can check out the file.
Checking out files are sometimes necessary, but what if the user has left the company? How can we know about that kind of files?
There are few ways to deal with it:
- Manage Checked Out files for a Document Library from "Document Library Settings".
- The fact that in SharePoint there is no Out of the Box way to Manage Check Out files on a higher level than a document library (Site, Site Collection, Farm) -
In this case, you should either use a Powershell Script (FREE and recommended) or a 3rd party solutions such as SPDash, Virto Software or SPDocKit, Sharegate.
Notice: It is recommended and in some cases even necessary to handle Check out files with System Admin User.
