How To Restore Your Old Headlight Lenses With Toothpaste

As you know, polishing is a very important technique in our prototype industry, in our factory, we polished a lot of PMMA material part.

Today we are going to our polishing experience, show you an easy way to restore your foggy headlight lenses and I will do it step by step.

Step 1

Add some water on the headlight first, then put some toothpaste on the headlight, you might probably use 1/3 of the bottle for one headlight.

Step 2

Use a toothbrush to smear the toothpaste around on the headlight, make sure the toothpaste to cover the entire surface of the light.

Step 3

Use the toothbrush to brush the lens hardly, you might need to use some water to make it faster. This may take about 15 minutes, it depends on the quality you want.

Step4

Rinse the headlight clean by pouring some water over it and then drying with a cotton cloth or tissue. Then repeat the same process on the opposite side of leness.

Step5

The last step is to wax the headlights, then you find your headlight lens turn to be shiny, the whole polishing job done.
