How to resolve this error message when adding a Canvas Power Apps application to a Solution

My name is Rachel Irabor, and I'm a Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM developer. I love to document what I have learned or encountered.

Creating and adding your applications, flows, entities, and bots to a solution is a good practice. A good example is when you need to move an application with its table in Dataverse to another environment, you can easily add the application and Dataverse table in a solution.


You might encounter this error when adding your Canvas apps to a solution.

The error reads: Sign-in App is locked by Rachel Irabor


The reason it's happening is that the application is open in your browser tab while you are trying to add the application to your solution.


How to resolve this

Save and close your application. Next, go back to your solution and re-add the existing application.
