How To Reset Your WordPress Admin Password

I don’t know about you, but I run so many installations of WordPress, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the logins.
Sure, I have a good password manager, but sometimes things get mixed up and I find myself needing a password reset. Unfortunately, I not always remember what admin email I used at signup (I know that’s terrible).
Reset WordPress Password In phpMyAdmin
Anyways, I figured out a VERY easy way to reset your wp-admin password as long as you have access to phpMyAdmin. All NameHero customers can find this inside of cPanel -> PHP MyAdmin.

How To Reset Your WordPress Admin Password
- Login to cPanel
- Click on phpMyAdmin
- Select your database on the left
- Click your users table
- Click edit beside the admin user
- Change the Function of user_pass to MD5
- Enter your password in the field
- Click Go
Go back to your WordPress admin and make sure your information is secure!
