COMMENTARY:

Everything connected to movement Conservatism from William F. Buxkley’s Sharon Statement in 1960 to Bunker Boy is a lie. It’s all Fascist sophstry based on David Hume’s theory of perception and totally without existential anchor. Warping reality is the least of its pathologies.

Buckley’s Sharon Statement posits a political milieu where Senator Joe McCarthy has been elevated as the Archetype of the Republican Alpha Male and Patriot, and the essence of Constitutional authoriy and unitary executive.

The result is Donald J. Trump**, Proud Boy-in-Chief.
