How to Repair FRP Membrane Housings Surface Scratches Caused during Delivery
Scratches of the surface of the frp membrane housings(frp pressure vessels) are common and inevitable during transit, loading and unloading, installations, and though the membrane housings are for industrial use, surface paint defect will not influence its function, bad looks cause people less trust in the quality of the products, as well as the systems!
How to repair the scratches,defects on surface paint of FRP membrane housings?
1.If the scratch area is relatively small, you need to check the depth of the scar first. If only the surface paint is wiped off, you can repair it with Aerosol(spray paint) in time.
You may use the Aerosol(same color as shell body) and 600 mesh sandpaper (abrasive paper) as attached! First, to polish the defect area by abrasive paper to be smooth, and then using the Aerosol to paint this area. Then it will look pretty good!
2.If the scratch area is large, and deeper or the color is customized, not easily to get exact color of Aerosol:

How to use it?
First,clean and polish the scratch area by 600 mesh sandpaper to be smooth, to make the surface better for paint.
Then by mixing ratio of paint and curing agent is 2:1,mix them, and use proper brush to paint the defect part of the vessel.
