The Challenge

The client previously relied on another software for software licence management but faced limitations and inefficiencies in optimising software usage. This led them to explore more effective solutions for managing their licences. Since they were already using ServiceNow for frontend operations, it made sense to evaluate ServiceNow’s Software Asset Management (SAM) Pro for addressing these needs.

  • Integrating and managing licences for Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, and Azure within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring comprehensive software licence management across various providers.
  • Customising Adobe licence reclamation rules to meet specific tracking needs, ensuring optimal licence utilisation.
  • Implementing Software Asset Workspace to centralise and prioritise activities related to software asset lifecycle management, enabling seamless collaboration for compliance, software reclamation, and report generation, all within one unified platform.
