What does it mean when your LinkedIn account is restricted?
If your LinkedIn account is restricted, it means your account has been suspended and you won’t be able to access it. There are a few reasons why your LinkedIn account can be restricted. It may be because of an unusually high number of profile views and page views that may imply the usage of an automated tool; violation of the User Agreement or they might have detected an illegal activity in your account.
What are the different types of restrictions by LinkedIn?
These restrictions are more or less serious, longer, and can go as?far?as a?permanent ban. But don’t worry, it’s quite rare. I’m going to explain all of this to you here.
1: Weekly invitation quotas reached
?Now LinkedIn has decided to set?weekly limits for sending out invitations.
Now users are limited to around 100 connection requests per week, and no one escapes the rule, not even premium or Sales Navigator users.
2: Detecting an automation tool
If you are using an automation tool.LinkedIn may be able to detect it directly. In this case, it will tell you the name of the extension you are using and ask you to stop. It may also detect behavior that appears to be automated, without being sure that you are using automation tools. This often happens when you browse hundreds of profiles in searches in a short period of time.
3: Temporarily Restricted
This is a more dangerous restriction than the previous ones. LinkedIn believes you have violated its Terms of Service.
Different reasons for Temporarily Restricted
???4: Permanently banned from LinkedIn
This step is the final step. Normally, you have gone through the previous step and provided identification.
Why was I restricted by LinkedIn?
1: You have sent a lot of invitation requests
Generally recommended up to 20 connections per day. If you just created your profile, it will be good to send a small amount of connections request per day so that you will keep things under control, and add more people as your profile grows, and send connections request with the help of Add note (personal message)
2: Your acceptance rates are low
At first, while your profile is still growing, look to connect with people within the same industry. For example, if you are in the field of Healthcare then try to connect with some industry people.
A low acceptance rate of connection requests may also cause of your account restriction.
3: Your response rates are low
if no one is accepting your requests or responding to your messages, that’s not a good sign. It looks a lot like?spam.
In this scenario, LinkedIn may choose to?restrict your account?with one of the previous restrictions
More don’t try to send messages again and again if someone does not reply to you. When response rates are low this may also cause your account restriction.?
4: Too many people have reported: “not knowing you.”
If too many users report you in this way, LinkedIn will consider that you are adding people you don’t know and it doesn’t like that too much.
Unfortunately, there is no way to know exactly how many people have?reported?to you.
So be careful
(i) You are not sharing inappropriate content

(ii): You are not sharing Degrading content
(iii): You are not sharing insulting content
5: You are using a dangerous automation tool
If you are using an?automation tool, LinkedIn may be able to detect it directly.?It may also detect behavior that appears to be?automated when you are using?automation tools.
You will face the following problems
(i)Visit excess LinkedIn profiles in a short period of time.
(ii) Send a large number of connection requests in a short period of time.
(iii) Large activities from LinkedIn profiles in a short period of time (Post likes, skills???
???Endorsement, follow page and etc)
6: Below the belt content
If you are posting the wrong content or something that damages the feelings of humans.
?????LinkedIn can restrict your LinkedIn account.
Such as
You are sharing inappropriate content.
?You are sharing Degrading content.
You are sharing insulting content.
You are sharing anti-religious content.
7: You send the same message too many times
LinkedIn does not like to see the same message sent to many people. This is not a powerful and professional way to build a network. So LinkedIn may decide to restrict your LinkedIn account.
8: You send the same Add note too many times
LinkedIn does not like to see the same Add note message sent to many people. This is not a powerful and professional way to build a network. So LinkedIn may decide to restrict your LinkedIn account.
