How to Reach the People Who Need Your Product

How to Reach the People Who Need Your Product

You have a product and you know there are people who need, or could really use that product.

You created it specifically to help with something - whether it's health, computers, finances - or anything in between, you just have to reach the right audience to let them know it's out there.

The right words on the right platform will reach that target audience.

Whether it's a brand new product or something better than the next guys doesn't matter.

You have a product to sell and an audience to reach. You just have to find them and attract them.

So where do you find your perfect target audience?

Sure you've got a website set up, but how do you get them to "come and see"?

The days of placing generic ads for everybody and anybody are long gone.

Now we have the internet - and social media.

We all do it!

Where's the first place you begin your search for almost any item?

If you didn't say google you're probably lying to yourself!

And in order to be found on Google you need to use the right words in the right place on your site. That's what SEO is all about.

The other way is to bring the traffic to you!

So instead of just waiting and hoping to be found, you need to attract that audience.

So where do you find them?

Over 4.59 billion people around the world (increasing daily) use social media not just to communicate with friends and family, but also to get their news or to find whatever they're looking for.

This is where they interact with the world.

73% of marketers believe that social media marketing is very effective because this is where your audience can be found.

As would be expected, different generations hang out on different social media platforms. This is why you need to know who your audience is.

So will you find them on Facebook or Instagram or TikTok or Pinterest? Obviously using the wrong platform would produce little to no results.

Have you tried Social Media Marketing before and been disappointed?

This could be why.

It 's like selling washers and dryers in a middle school newsletter - or sports equipment to the elderly. The wrong audience will yield nothing.

So first, target your audience and get to know them...and let them get to know you.

The best part of social media marketing is that a lot of your initial marketing doesn't seem like marketing at all and it's very inexpensive - outright free if you know how to write effective copy.

And if writing isn't your forte, hiring a writer is definitely worth the investment - and still not very expensive considering the average ROI.

As American Express would say, the return from Social Media exposure is "priceless".

Social Media "Marketing" is about making yourself/your product familiar to the audience.

Once they get to know you/your company - they've seen your ads or posts, they know your name and what you're all about, then it's time to invite them in.

Kind of like inviting a new friend come to your home.
