Founded over four decades ago, RAMO is one of the leading providers of ERP solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in Brazil and Latin America. In 2005, the company took a crucial step by becoming the first SAP Business One partner in Brazil.

The company carries out 30 to 40 go-lives a year and adds more than 60 new clients annually. In addition, RAMO is one of the 6 founders of Linked World, a global strategic alliance, which has a robust ecosystem of 25 partners around the world, reinforcing its leadership role in the ERP and technological innovation market.

Today, with more than 600 customers in Brazil and 60 in Peru, RAMO is the only active partner since SAP Business One began operating in the country.

Empowering Generations in the SAP World

But RAMO's impact goes far beyond numbers. RAMO has also been driven by the mission of empowering people in the SAP universe. With a clear focus on training and education, RAMO has helped thousands of professionals acquire new skills and expand their career opportunities.

‘We realised that it was important to train and empower people in the SAP world, helping not only our clients, but everyone who wants to improve their living conditions,’ said Décio Krakauer, a partner at RAMO.

During the pandemic, RAMO started a programme: free training for thousands of people. The result? More than 15.000 professionals trained in SAP. Best of all? These trainings weren't just restricted to their clients, but were open to anyone interested in learning, further amplifying the positive impact.

‘We've found that people want to be trained, to improve their skills and often these trainings open doors to new job opportunities,’ commented Dave Lafer, also a RAMO partner.

RAMO continues to train around 5,000 professionals a year, empowering the next generation of SAP specialists by offering them the chance to develop new skills and improve their living conditions.

Pro Bono Projects: Technology that Transforms Lives

In addition to training, RAMO and SAP have joined forces to bring technology to social impact projects. Through pro bono initiatives, the company has implemented SAP solutions for NGO such as the Funda??o Amaz?nia Sustentável, which works to preserve the Amazon rainforest, and Companhia do Sorriso, which supports children with cleft lip and palate.

‘It's a joy to contribute to pro bono projects, where we not only donate our solutions, but also time and expertise to make a difference,’ added Décio Krakauer.

Constant Innovation: The S/4HANA Public Cloud Challenge

Always looking to the future, RAMO has embraced new technological challenges while remaining at the forefront of innovation. Last year, SAP set RAMO the challenge of working with the S/4HANA Public Cloud product. RAMO didn't hesitate: ‘We accepted the challenge of this solution, and we're ready to continue growing together with SAP on this new journey,’ emphasised Dave Lafer.
