I married where the stars said "go",

I worked when the bills said "pay",

I kissed when the other said "love";

I stopped being myself, this was how.


I cared for those who said "duty first",

I laughed with people who said "please me",

I worked for blokes who said "obey now";

I stopped being myself, this was how.


I prayed with them saying "god bless us",

I shut when they said "you never change",

I taught the kid to "write answers right";?
