Keeping small kids engaged at studies is tough but getting them to watch funny cartoons is easy.
So, why not use cartoons to teach, thought Prerna A. Jhunjhunwala and Nikhil Naik, founders of Creative Galileo.
The startup is southeast asia’s first-of-its-kind character-based early learning platform for kids aged three to 10.
Creative Galileo is a bit different from other children’s learning apps.
They offer preemptive aptitude tracking, so their learning content is personalized based on what kids already know.
At the same time, Creative Galileo also aligns with the NEL (Nurturing Early Learners) curriculum developed by the Ministry of Education in Singapore.
Their learning concepts include STEM, animation and graphic design, social and emotional learning and financial literacy.
The concept has taken off and they have raised $7.5 million in Series A funding from Kalaari Capital, East Ventures, Affirma Capital and angel investors.
We are seeing a lot of new development in the Ed tech space and if you are in the education sector, you need to move fast to catchup with these up coming startups or risk being left behind.
