Published March 27th 2025 Mayceys Confectionery owner Jasmeet Singh told the Herald the forklift was parked outside his Clarke St warehouse when it was taken. “One of our guys was chasing him. He jumped a red light and chased him up through Burger King but then lost him.” A staff member appealed for sightings on Facebook of the stolen forklift. “A man in a black hoodie stole our forklift which was being used by our store person,” they said. Published March 25th 2025: The woman was legally upon the property of the Defendant as a business invitee and as a member of the general public claims that she tripped and fell over part of a forklift at Florida Atlantic University is now suing the school’s board of trustees for more than $50,000. Published March 21 2025: Assistant Manager Bianca Johnson shared the Hyundai's official statement on the incident: Around 4:45 p.m. today, an incident occurred at the battery joint venture property on the megasite. The initial indication is that a forklift struck a worker, resulting in fatal injuries to the male victim. The incident is under investigation.
