How to Put Your Intentional Goals into Practice
Last week I ended my blog post “How to Set Goals with Intention” with a quote by Nisargadatta Maharaj, “Once you realize that the road is the goal and that you are always on the road, not to reach a goal, but to enjoy its beauty and its wisdom, life ceases to be a task and becomes natural and simple, in itself ecstasy.”
I read this quote every day because it is a powerful reminder that we are on this ride called life until we aren’t. We have no control when it starts or when it ends – the power we do have is how we move through it. We all have days where we are maneuvering through with grace, confidence and determination. Adversely, there are days where we are a shell of a human, can barely get out of bed and every little obstacle crushes our spirit. What are some ways that we can avoid the latter – by being mindful, slowing down to revel in the experience, not racing to each milestone, and gliding through life with a purpose.
