Our country's first Prime Minister, Shri. Jawaharlal Nehru said, “A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance.”
Today's India sees waste everywhere, and we are proud to say that we are on a mission on Making India Zero Waste. In honour of our armed forces, we are proud to present some of the projects with them on this Independence Day.
Awareness holds the key to action
At CQAEE, Pune - we held an awareness campaign dedicated to civilians and officers together. We played waste segregation games, interacted with them through quiz and spread the message behind waste segregation.
We thank Lt. Col. Vikash for the opportunity to start the message of Zero Waste at CQAEE.
Being a Plastic Free Campus
At Aundh Military Station - we were humbled by the efforts of Shivneri Battalion, whose dedication on waste segregation was unbelievable. We were proud recipients of plastic waste that the station officers and their families had collected.
Compost Powered Kitchen Gardens
Compost is made for plants - and at College of Military Engineering, we were honored to see the beautiful kitchen garden growing brinjals, chillies, methi and tomatoes at CTW mess.

A full fledged step to Zero Waste
We are honored to serve war veterans who have taken the bold step to being Zero Waste. At Queen Mary's Technical Institute, we provide an integrated end to end waste management services.
Right from collection to composting to channeling recyclables - we have transitioned their dependence on landfills completely. We are proud of the invaluable step the community here is taking to segregate their waste, and duly follow it up with action.
Many of us grew up listening to the slogan - Jai Jawaan, Jai Kisaan.
At ProEarth, we are happy to have served both our Jawaans and our Kisaans through our process of Composting.
Like many Indians, we are proud of our Independence - our identity as a nation. We extend that pride in making our country 'Atma-Nirbhar' when it comes to managing waste.
To our Defence forces, we serve through our work - Jai Hind!
