Imagine overflowing streets and landfills?—?breeding grounds for disease-carrying pests and potential contamination of our precious water supply. Not exactly a recipe for a healthy community, right? Well, here is the good news: proper waste management is like a superhero for our health! How?
Remember that time you got the flu? No fun, right? Well, responsible waste management helps prevent the spread of diseases like cholera by keeping waste contained and disposed of properly. And let’s not forget the air we breathe. The WEF video even explains it more. Decomposing waste releases harmful gases that contribute to respiratory illnesses. By managing waste responsibly, we can breathe easier?—?literally!
