It’s the beginning of 2022 and people set goals for the new year. ??

Most of them set goals for their career or business.

Some of them set goals for their fitness and nutrition.

I’ve seen very few of them including their relationships in the equation. ????

Why?

Because we are not supposed to!

We have always heard that “the right woman will come one day”. ??

That if you work hard on your career and you are a good man, you will end up with your dream partner along the way.

And I believed this Hollywoodian story for a looong time.

Fortunately, one day the engineer in me took over.

And that is when I started changing my approach to dating. ????

I stopped seeing dating as this voodoo thing where you must cross your fingers and hope the planets will align.

And I started seeing it for what it really is.

A project.

How do I make a project is successful?

Here is a 3-steps-system that can help you.

?? Define your goals

And no, spare me the usual wishy-washy “I want to find love”

Be specific.

Which kind of person do you want to have in your life?

Which characteristics do you value in a partner?

How do you imagine your relationship with her?

Or maybe your main goal is getting back to dating after a long time, improving your social skills, or learning how to make an emotional connection before committing to someone in particular.

Whatever your goal is, write it down. ???

That’s the only way you can be effective…

… and take luck out of the equation.

Once you set your goal, which tasks do you need to accomplish to achieve that goal?

Do you want to find a supportive partner with the same sense of humor, sporty, and having goals and interests she is passionate about?

Good!

Where can you have opportunities to connect with this kind of woman?

Is it online or offline?

Which skills do you need to develop?

Do you know how to start a conversation from scratch?

How to build that emotional connection that will make her excited to go on a date with you? ??

Or how to manage the first date in a way that can lead to a second one and so on?

Make a list of tasks.

Again, be as specific as possible.

?? Break those tasks down to the month, to the week, to the hour.

This is a mistake people make all the time.

And not only in dating.

They write tasks but never break them down, especially not to the hour. ??

Why is it important?

Because if you do that, you will be able to integrate dating into your schedule, no matter how busy it is.

Going on a date will become as important as going to the next team meeting.

You will see that on your calendar.

It will be automatically taken care of.

And you won’t leave yourself any excuse to put it off. ??
